A visit to the cathedral market

The cathedral market is an institution in Freiburg. Eating "Stefan's cheesecake" or a "long red" (sausage) is just as much a part of it as strolling and lingering at the countless flower, fruit and vegetable stalls. All kinds of handmade goods are also on offer here!

A ride on the »Schauinsland« cable car

The »Schauinsland« cable car takes you up the 746m high Schauinsland all year round. It is the longest circulating cable car in Germany. Once at the top, you can expect not only an unforgettable view, but also numerous hiking trails, sports and leisure activities.
